Welcome!
Sara has practiced Speech and Language Pathology since January 2009 making this her 15th year as a Speech-Language Pathologist (aka SLP, Speech Therapist). She has worked in a private clinic helping children with speech and language delays, on staff at a local hospital, and as the speech and language therapist for a local middle school. She loves empowering people to communicate, connect, and find meaning. Together, we will identify, create and achieve goals based on strengths and needs. Therapy can focus on speech, voice, receptive and expressive language (mouth words, AAC or a combination). Individual and group therapy can increase social skills—including honoring neurodiversity. Sara is trained to provide evaluation and therapy to address swallowing challenges. She integrates cognitive goals (attention, memory, problem solving, planning) as well as recommending and incorporating the use of compensatory strategies. Sara enjoys working with clients of all ages. She offers individual assessments, individual and group therapy, as well as consultations for patients and their caregivers.
